THERAPY

The only impossible journey is the one you never begin. - Anthony Robbins

Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy is a process through which clients work one-on-one in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.
Individual therapy can be a powerful way to work through difficult emotions, struggles and losses in your life.  Being able to share your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a non-judgmental and supportive environment can lead to self-discovery, clarity and resolution to problems.

Group Therapy

Group Therapy generates a greater capacity for self-understanding and for empathy toward self and others. It creates a microcosm of the world with many different perspectives providing for honest feedback, exploration and experimentation in a safe setting.. Group members learn how their behaviour is viewed by others and  how their own actions impact others . This allows for self reflection and personal growth.
Group Therapy is a unique way to learn from and support peers who are dealing with similar issues, normalize feelings, reduce isolation and practice new skills as you develop trusting and healthy relationships.

Release Programs

Release Programs are designed to assist with releasing a behavior that no longer serves you and is preventing you from living a healthy, fullfilling life.  They were developed by the Wellness Institute and use both educational and experiential components.   Each approaches the behavior release by addressing the body, mind and spirit.
The two current programs offered are :
1. Trim Life:

Currently being utilized in the Integrative Medicine Department at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, this program uses a small group format to empower participants to develop a new relationship with food and experience a sense of enthusiasm, rather than deprivation around nourishing thier bodies.
2. Clean Break:
This program uses individual sessions to help participants stop smoking and effectively develop a healthy smoke-free lifestyle.
